Tractive Power Corporation is a privately-held company that is dedicated to finding environmentally-friendly products and solutions for the rail industry.
The Team
The company was founded by Frank Donnelly in 2010 to provide innovative and practical solutions to the rail industry. Frank is a well known innovator, with over 30 patents to his name. Using a unique approach, Frank Donnelly and his talented team have taken up the challenge to offer solutions to moving material by rail.
History
Tractive Power Corporation's prototype, the TP56, was completed in 2014 and put into service at Parrish & Heimbecker in Cloverdale, BC. The company has since expanded its product line to include the TP70 (3 axle), TP90 (4 axle) and TP130 (6 axle) switcher locomotives.
