Tractive Power Corporation’s head office is located in beautiful North Vancouver, BC, Canada. North Vancouver is especially considered a nature and recreationalist’s paradise.  Mountain biking, hiking, boating, skiing,  kayaking, camping, scuba diving and just about any other outdoor activity one can imagine is possible in especially accessible from North Vancouver.  It is famous for the “Grouse Mountain / Grind ” as well as Seymour Mountain

Vancouver  is also one of the considered one of the most livable and beautiful cities in the world.  Endowed with a temperate climate, the rich diversity of landscapes , the Greater Vancouver area supports a mix of cultures from around the world.

Our Manufacturing Partner: Curry Rail Services

Tractive Power Corporation is pleased to announce the signing of a manufacturing agreement with Curry Rail Services (CRS) of Hollidaysburg PA. CRS has extensive knowledge in all facets of locomotive assembly from engineering to the fabrication and final assembly of locomotives. The combined experience between Tractive Power Corporation and Curry Rail Services is truly a great partnership that offers a high quality product that meets the expectations of the industrial rail market. Our original manufacturing facility was located only 45 minutes drive or approximately 80 km away from our North Vancouver headquarters in the town of Squamish, BC. The well equipped facility includes a 50 ton overhead crane and had all the necessary equipment to effectively construct and assemble our initial demonstration unit, the TP56 – a 3 axle industrial locomotive. Tractive Power Corporation would like to thank the West Coast Railway Association for the use of their MP-2 locomotive shop facilities in Squamish BC on the initial build of the TP-56.
